What is Celebrant Singers?Celebrant Singers is a contemporary Christian music and missions ministry with it's international headquarters in Visalia, California. Who founded Celebrant Singers?Celebrant Singers was founded by Jon Stemkoski, and the first team began in the summer of 1977. What is the scope of your ministry?Celebrant Singers team have ministered in all 50 states across the U.S., throughout Canada, Mexico and more than 95 additional nations around the world. Nearly 8 million people have attended a live concert with Celebrants. Is Celebrant Singers associated with any denomination?No. Celebrant Singers are interdenominational in nature. Our office staff and road teams represent a broad spectrum Christian heritages from across the U.S., Canada, and around the world. How is your organization funded?We are not financed by any corporation or religious denomination. We are a registered non-profit organization and our annual budget is raised through donations, missionary support raised by individual team members, offerings at our services in North America, and the sale of CDs and other products. Is there more than one team of Celebrant Singers?We currently have two types of teams on the field. Our SUMMER team ministers for ten (10) weeks over the summer, and our REPRISE! teams - comprised of singers, instrumentalists and technicians from ages 18-80 - minister in the Spring, Summer and Fall for a three week period. Both teams minister domesticall and internationally.
